Getting to the Marine Corps Marathon and 10K

Marine Corps Marathon and 10K runners and spectators should use Metrorail, bicycle and/or get a ride into Arlington to minimize race-day lines and congestion.

Race organizers recommend that runners arrive two hours prior to start time to proceed through the security checkpoint, drop off bags and line up in the appropriate corral. Metro will open at 6 a.m. on Sunday, with the closest Metro station to the start is the Pentagon station on the Blue and Yellow Lines. Arlington Cemetery Station will remain closed on the morning of the race until 8:30 a.m.

MCM opening ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 6:30 a.m., with the wheelchair/hand cycle division starting at 7:40 a.m., on Route 110 midway between the Marine Corps War Memorial and the Pentagon.

Interactive maps for both the MCM and 10K can be found by following this link. You can also access a PDF of the course map by clicking here.
