GW Parkway Ramp to I-66/Route 50 to Close on Wed, Thu Nights

VDOT will close the ramp from the southbound George Washington Memorial Parkway to eastbound I-66 and westbound Route 50 (Arlington Boulevard) on Wednesday night and Thursday night, from midnight to 4 am each night to work on the I-66 overpass.

Traffic bound for Washington, DC will be detoured across the Arlington Memorial Bridge via the George Washington Memorial Parkway, Memorial Avenue and Memorial Circle. Meanwhile, traffic bound for Arlington Boulevard will be detoured via the George Washington Memorial Parkway, Memorial Avenue and Memorial Circle back to Arlington Boulevard.

The work is part of the I-66 over Route 110 and George Washington Memorial Parkway ramps project, which is scheduled for completion in summer 2019.
