The National Park Service is warning of a pair of projects that will impact your ability to get around the region this week.

Beginning Monday, one lane of Rock Creek Parkway and Potomac Parkway will be closed to accommodate construction near the Kennedy Center. This will impact the northbound lane between the Roosevelt Bridge to the Kennedy Center from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

In addition, from Tuesday through Friday this week, one lane of Washington Boulevard will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. This closure is to allow for preparations for the eventual rehab of the Arlington Memorial Bridge. (Washington Boulevard is the road that connects Memorial Circle on the west side of the bridge to the entrance to the George Washington Memorial Parkway.)
