Those looking to travel in the District of Columbia this week should be aware of planned protests and acts of civil disobedience against family separation.

On Thursday, a group affiliated with the Families Belong Together and Women’s March movement will take “escalated action” in opposition of the now-rescinded White House policy of separating immigrant children and parents attempting to cross the border. Actions are expected to take place at 10 a.m. at undisclosed locations.

Then on Saturday, thousands are expected in D.C. for a rally at 11 a.m. at Lafayette Square, across from the White House. As of Tuesday afternoon, no road closures had been announced in conjunction with the rally, but expect crowds in the area of H Street NW and Pennsylvania Avenue NW between 15th and 18th Streets NW.
