Metrorail

Orange Line: Prepare for significant delays Monday. Due to construction issues over the weekend, the service day starts with single-tracking between New Carrollton and Cheverly stations.

As a result, the eastern end of the Orange Line will have reduce service, affecting New Carrollton, Landover, Cheverly, Deanwood and Minnesota Avenue stations. Trains will run every 16 minutes, instead of eight minutes.

To mitigate impacts on the rest of the Orange Line, every other train on this line will begin and end at Stadium-Armory.

If you park and ride from the eastern Orange Line stations, suitable alternatives would be the Largo Town Center or Morgan Boulevard stations on the Blue/Silver Lines.

For additional information, check out the advisory from WMATA. https://www.wmata.com/about/news/orange-line-9-17-17.cfm

Orange, Blue and Silver Lines: Throughout the week from 9 p.m. until closing Sunday through Thursday, the east entrance of McPherson Square will close to allow for ceiling-tile installation. Elevator access at this entrance will be available.

Red Line: For the week, from 10 p.m. until closing, trains will come every 20-25 minutes due to single-tracking between Dupont Circle and Van Ness stations.

Yellow and Green Lines: Regular weekday service.
